Message	was cost. Pure and simple. The 83-93 Chevy Camaro had something like 5 different wheels over it's range of trims and production years - everything from color matched steelies to various alloy wheels. My point is that the Supra came out and clearly had superior braking & wheel size. Nissan opted to put a new wing on the ass of the car.
